The Ultimate Indoor Playground Experience
When Liz showed me the website for Tigerplay play indoor playgrounds, I knew they were a special company that clearly understood what parents and children want in a play area. And then came the call with Marie and Ian (husband and wife) who developed and designed the play area that will be installed in Playfull Day Cafe. Based in the UK, they are more than just a company, they offer creativity, joy, and warmth. It was a match that could not have been more perfect.
Tigerplay creates spaces where children can truly thrive. Their designs spark wonder, imagination and curiosity where children can explore, learn, and grow, all while having fun. What sets them apart is that they incorporate educational and developmental elements into every one of their play spaces. They are mindful of the way children play, use playgrounds, and what is appropriate for the various developmental stages: they know what matters most for parents and children.
With over 25 years as an educator (and am completing my certification in Educational Therapy), I deeply appreciate Tigerplay’s commitment to creating spaces that nurture a child’s holistic development. Their designs not only spark joy and imagination, but also foster essential skills like problem-solving, social interaction, and fine motor development. By incorporating educational elements into their play spaces, Tigerplay ensures that children are learning as they play. It’s clear that they understand the importance of child-led play and have designed their spaces to support a child’s natural curiosity and creativity.
Our indoor playground was designed for babies through 5 and there are elements that include balance challenges, obstacles to squeeze through, an observation platform, a treehouse, and a soft play area for our youngest visitors.
Sustainability
We were also drawn to Tigerplay’s commitment to sustainability using eco-friendly materials and reducing the negative environmental impact. They have a range of environmentally friendly fabrics which are manufactured with high percentages of recycled and recyclable components. These materials are not only safe for children, but also kind to the planet. We will be able to sanitize them using eco-friendly and non-toxic products.
